About The Bonfire Texas

Look for us next year in 2021 for a great festival and bonfire!  In the meantime, we hope you’ll join The Bonfire Texas and the HoustonLive songwriter team at the 2nd Annual HoustonLive Songwriter Competition and Concert November 14th at 8th Wonder Brewery!

For the last two years in the Fall in Texas The Bonfire Texas Music Festival Gone to the Dogs volunteers, artists and fans have headed down the long dirt road past the pavement to a high-acreage working ranch to celebrate Texas performing songwriters and give back to animal rescue.  This Fall is no different and volunteers, artists and fans will head out to the Stevens and Pruett Ranch on October 5th for music, BBQ, hay rides, games, vendor fair, auction, rescues and more; and the artist line-up is as perfect as a Texas peach in the summertime or a Texas pecan pie pretty much any time of the year.

Headlining acts are Jesse Raub JR with four #1 hits on Texas radio and active co-writing with Cody Johnson and others; and Holly Tucker recent winner two years in a row for Female Vocalist of the Year and finalist on The Voice with #TeamBlake.

Acoustic Chapel Stage acts are Rona Williams, Tom McKinney’s Rising Star Olivia Bogard, Charles Bryant, Ken Gaines, Alex Coba, Scott Sean White, Sarah Golden and Van Buchanan.  Main stage guests include Jim Gill and Tyri Schiek playing songs writing for The Bonfire Texas.

About 8th Wonder Brewery

8th Wonder Brewery

What is 8th Wonder all about?

We are dedicated to crafting fresh, flavorful brews, and we’re proud to be a part of the Texas beerscape.

In 1965, the doors to the Houston Astrodome opened for the first time. Dubbed the “8th Wonder of the World”, this first ever air-conditioned domed stadium coincided with Houston’s launch into the global spotlight.

In 2013, inspired by the spirit of Houston, we began brewing beer in a dome-like warehouse in East Downtown. Exploring styles from across the beer world, we offer something for everyone.

We like good beer and good fun, and we strive to craft both at 8th Wonder.
