For the last two years in the Fall in Texas The Bonfire Texas Music Festival Gone to the Dogs volunteers, artists and fans have headed down the long dirt road past the pavement to a high-acreage working ranch to celebrate Texas performing songwriters and give back to animal rescue.  This Fall is no different and volunteers, artists and fans will head out to the Stevens and Pruett Ranch on October 5th for music, BBQ, hay rides, games, vendor fair, auction, rescues and more; and the artist line-up is as perfect as a Texas peach in the summertime or a Texas pecan pie pretty much any time of the year.

About Stevens and Pruett Ranch

Stevens and Pruett Ranch

The Stevens & Pruett Foundation for Children and Animals, founded by Jim and Joy Pruett in the early 1980′s sits on a 38 acre ranch providing a foster home for girls and rescued animals. Young girls ranging in age, are provided a safe place to rest their heads, given warm meals and love. Abused animals are nursed back to good health with the able assistance of the girls. When possible we find adoptive homes for the animals; however in most cases, these animals will call the Ranch their everlasting home.
